North
Eastern Wisconsin Pleasure Horse Association
The
primary function of the North Eastern Wisconsin Pleasure
Horse Association is to provide direction, regulation and
organization to horse shows in North Eastern Wisconsin.
The
goal of NEWPHA is to provide a fun, family oriented
and affordable atmosphere to show and enjoy your horse.
Four
Clubs host five shows between June 1st and August 31st of
each year. Shows are always held on Sundays, rain or shine.
NEWPHA shows are held at different venues throughout Northeast
Wisconsin.
Points
are awarded for 1st through 5th placings in all NEWPHA approved
classes at each club sponsored show. The Year-end Awards banquet
is held the 1st Saturday in November with high point awards
going to 1st through 3rd place.
Super
Horse Awards are given to a horse/handler combination with
at least one 1st in three or more classes. Reserve Super Horse
Awards are given to a horse/handler combination with year-end
points in three classes. There is also an overall High Point
Award for the horse/handler with the most year-end points.
